In this article, we are going to discuss AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence and will machine take over humans? We will discuss AI and how it works.

AI ( Artificial Intelligence )
AI ( Artificial Intelligence ) is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, in simple terms, human’s ability to think or interaction is done by machine especially computer systems. These processes include learning the acquisition of information and rules for using the information, reasoning and using the rules to reach approximate conclusion and self-correction. Most correct example of AI ( artificial intelligence ) can be expert systems and speech recognition system and even vision recognition systems.

AI was first used by an American computer scientist in 1956 at the Dartmouth Conference. Today, everything is termed as or uses AI, from robotic process automation to actual robotics. It has gone too far due to the big data collection, speed, size and variety of data collected, etc.

AI can perform many tasks from identifying text, converting text to speech or speech to text and even identifying patterns in the data and more efficiently predicting things that humans cant, enabling businesses to gain more insights of their data.

Types of Artifical Intelligence
AI can be categorized in many ways but here are a few examples and categories. We have Weak AI and Strong AI.

Weak AI
As the name suggests, weak AI is a smaller term or smaller study or a narrow AI where AI systems are designed to train for a particular task. Virtual personal assistants such as Apple’s Siri or ‘Google Now’ are forms of weak AI.

Strong AI
Strong AI, on the other hand, is a bigger term and is also known as artificial general intelligence, is an AI system with generalized human abilities that they can find the solutions to unfamiliar tasks. For example, the turing test, developed by mathematician alan turing in 1950, is a method used to determine if a computer can actually think like a human and yes it’s a controversial topic.

Will Robots or AI take over humans?
Personally, I don’t know about robots taking over humans, we cannot predict anything but I think they. might definitely take over jobs and in fact, they have already started doing so. Machines and AI is replacing humans and I have seen programs that write programs and have taken the jobs of programmers
