I just got my first tablet, downloaded Artrage and looked for instructions on how to use it. This is the most useless 12 minutes I've ever wasted. I know how to 'make marks', I want to know how to use the tools in Artrage. In the olden days, this was called an Instruction Manual. Now apparently it's called 'wasting your time watching a video'.
thank you for this instructive video
Hi
Thank you!! Very helpful info 🙂
Great videos, Daniel! I hope you and your family are doing well, my friend.
I am currently painting in watercolors and have been following the advice of Andy Everson and how he usually does a value study of an image before/during his time while painting the actual painting. My question: Snapseed does brightness+/contrast+ and also the removal of details from an image to get a digital value study. Is the ArtRage Gaussian Blur feature sufficient enough (like Snapseed) or is there a better way of doing it to remove details? I have Snapseed on my iPhone and iPad but would like to do it on my Mac as well. Thanks, Mate!
Your videos are really helping me to think differently with ArtRage than I was before. Since I got the program I have struggled to find my way with it. I have made very little in terms of finished pieces but I go back and I play in the program. I adjust brush setting to see what I like and drop out things that don't work, I was trying so hard to imitate other programs that I was MISSING OUT on the things ArtRage does that is DIFFERENT from other programs. I just got the mobile app to make myself work more on it and I fall in love with the program again and again. I'll make some awesome work soon =)
Very good and helpful tutorial. When I first started digital painting I did not know or understand about dpi and this would have been very helpful at the time. I am sure that it will help a lot of people.
You convinced me to update my ArtRage when my new tablet shows up tomorrow.
