Blade Oath Review (No Spoilers) | Final Thoughts After Reading | Warhammer 40,000: Conquest

Always Board Never Boring

Always Board Never Boring has read Blade Oath by Andy Clark, and he has some opinions he wants to share. Blade Oath was an exclusive novella that was available as part of the Warhammer 40,000: Conquest subscription from Hachette Publishing and Games Workshop. The book follows the adventures of Captain Keltos of the Silver Templars as he seeks to redeem his honour. Is it worth reading?

  1. Well my old MacBook apparently is not working with YouTube anymore, so I can only post at work until I get around to buying a new one.  It won't even let me thumb videos.   Apparently youtube is dropping support for lots of old browsers.

Suffice to say, I have found GW books to be wildly variable in quality and consistency over the years.  It's a primary reason I could only make it through book 7 of the Horus Heresy.  It isn't anew thing though, as lots of their older books suffer from this too, the later Gotrek stuff, for example.I also  can't read GRR Martin because it's pedantic and plodding, so I might just be me.
