A very nice example of a postmodern building in the heart of Dublin. There is a good selection of postmodern style housing in Dublin, including a block right next to this with 1992 on the doorways keystone. This example was too good to miss with it’s symmetrical design and column details at the rear pedestrian archway. I circular brick design at the front of the station is unique and the skylight roofing is synonymous with postmodern buildings. This small development had two small retail units on either side, one was not in use at all and one was ‘The Fryery’ – a now abandoned fish and chip shop. Residential flats appear to be above.
