These magical 'ancestor trees' (so named because they contain the memories of individuals long dead) can grow as tall or taller than the tallest redwoods, but as comparatively thick around as the Grandidier's Baobab. They also live for millenia, with the oldest reaching ages of 100K years or more, their forms kept healthy by profligate magic, and a host of symbiotic inhabitants, from colonies of insectoids to creatures akin to Aye-ayes keeping parasites at bay.

36. I looked everywhere to see a video like this. I wanted to know what could be. Do you ever think about star trek creatures, or marvel creatures, in space? I woudl think in would have to be very large and made of rocks and chemicals. In a show called Farscape there was a creature called a boodong….lived on planetary rings…. organic creature. 41. As someone who grew up watching star trek Tng i dont just think this sort of thing will possibly exist somewhere out there i expect it. And also probabilities no matter how small are almost a certainty given enough time and space… and dimensions. With different physical spacial laws and maybe wel try to communicate with them. But then theres the other part of me that also grew up reading 40k lore that sort of expects wel have to deal with these things mostly thorugh the medium of peppering with generous amounts of cyclonic torpedoes or throwing black hole vortex weapons at them.
