29. When you know God, you can see his hand in everything that science explores. Science is not the author of anything. It is merely the discovery of what God has already done.

30. First of all, Dennett is committing a simple category error.
    The purpose of scientific methodology is falsfication. For this to happen something needs to be observable, testable, and repeatable.
    Anything outside of those parameters cannot be addressed by science (science presupposes things like metaphysics and logic. Then there are things like aesthetics which are completely outside of science).
    The major monotheistic religions were systematized – in a general sense – far before the science Dennett is talking about (17th century).
    So, he's being dishonest and deceptive here. Any honest secularist would agree.
