Hes tactically crap!
You have to look at the season averaged out, and on that front, it's been a very good first season, for Jimmy.
Far too many make the mistake of concentrating on our unbeaten start, and then the winless run. You can't do that. With that in mind, Should we finish 4th, it's still been an improvement on last season, which all we should've been looking for in his first season, and yet another rebuild.
We'll see a different Dons side next season.
Ironically Allan Rough is the least rough looking person on set. This is a cast for the radio if ever i see one.

Hibs keeper hasn't bounced back. He hasn't been playing, Smith has replaced him and Burasik can go (thankfully)

I love Thelin, but there's still things that he does that are dumbfounding. Too much tinkering with the starting line-up and some of the substitution decisions seem a bit naive. Ok, the team is only ever going to be outside the top two, unless some serious investment comes. The squad is ok, but play the STRONGEST starting line-up please Jimmy! 🙂
Jimmy Thelin is a poor manager. That woeful slump Aberdeen had while back with no wins in 10 league games or something like that should have seen him getting his marching orders. It was a pathetic run of useless form.
He doesnt inspire, lacks any charisma, his interviews would put you in a coma.
Celtic will adminster the coup de grace to him and the dandy dons with a 5-1 Cuo final thumping.
They always raise their game against Aberdeen.
It's quite incredible how no clubs have been able to compete with the old firm for this long. Look at what knutsen did with bodo over in norway, hes shown its still possible to build with little to no money and being reliant on a core set of attacking principles and player devolvement. Most spl clubs would rather hire old fashioned 1960s hoofball british managers though rather than hiring someone with a bit of flair with fresh ideas. Scotland is mates rates jobs for the boys, if your face fits you get jobs. Just look it boyds bum licking for mciness for the hearts job at weekend. Its everything wrong with scottish football. And im a rangers fan saying that.
Aberdeen are only 3 points behind hibs but no talk of david gray shouldn't be on list as for derek macinnes what de he achieve at aberdeen I say that as a dons fan won a cup final against Inverness caley on penalties lost a cup final to St johnstone a league without rangers hearts &hibs last 2 seasons at aberdeen ee were dreadful but u media guys luv him don't get it!

well done derek and killie on the win vs dundee. I think now when time comes and derek takes the hearts job, he will do it at the end of the season, and is the decent thing to do. but not till after the hearts game. He will take danny armstrong with him, why do you think danny is keeping his cards close to his chest and not signing with killie, because we know he is going with derek. People are wise and can read between all interviews from derek, danny and paul sheerin recently. In my eye he could stay at killie, and i feel he can do well AS MANAGER. But i do feel money and larger fan base is a bigger interest. so well done derek and wish you all the best for what you have done. Next new killie manager for me should be steven naismith, or stuart kettlewell. My choice would be naismith, he has got what it takes. so come on naisy come back to killie 🙂
Alan Rough may not be feeling to great, but he is TOP MAN and still looks great, last spoke with him at a golf doo, in prestwick for a charity event, for bud mckee at st cuthberts golf club where he signed my vinyl record of scotland world cup squad, that small gesture and chat will always mean a lot to me, and other previous chats over the years.
