2 Questions, if you would!??
1. With all the detailed processes going on at a sub-cellular level, do you believe the building blocks of life combined as a result of mere chance to give us all of this? Or was there something directing it, programming it? Just want your personal belief.
2. I think you're saying that computers attempting to reach consciousness haven't a snowball's chance in hell because the simple computer model doesn't account for microtubules and any quantum effects which lead us to consciousness. Right?

OrchOR failed in 2015. Meyer Overton correlation ended up being lipid melt/phase shift. The proposed CaMKII "encoded" local data path also can't maintain while rotating down the MT due to handedness breaking. Dimers do not superpose at all. They are one of the structures (monomer/dimer/MT) which emit an electromagnetic flux which acts a braided phasor (images provided at TSC 2018). Also CaMKII is likely tending to phosphorylation only, surface energies follow phosphate backbones with spiraling down other structures (DNA). I followed OrchOR for years…Loved it too. But it's dead. It did a great job gathering correlates. The brain though, is not a quantum computer. Turns out it is a frequency based (Fourier phase of firing – to – rate code…likely FIT/GML) organ.
The interpretation of random-yet-predictable "flickering" of coherence and decoherence events in the soft microstructure of the brain is very exciting. Worth a serious look.
Hameroff has clearly shown quantum consciousness is real. When fluoride enters your brain it causes quantum decoherence in the microtubials in your neurons. When this happens you lose memory, cognition, and eventually consciousness altogether. We see this in alzheimers . He has shown anesthesia effects the microtubials, selectively erasing consciousness and memory without effecting other brain functions. Consciousness and memory is linked directly to quantum vibrations in the microtubials. All this is documented, he has only been proven correct time and time again through independent experiments and studies , without any contradicting data. And idiots still believe consciousness doesnt exist. They dont want to believe consciousness exist because it destroys their entire materialist world view.
