My Respect Master Engineer π From π²π½ Support and Doing it
Amazing Video, Well explained with each tiny points that to 3D modules and real-time picture thank you.
Hey, one question? How does VAV be efficient than FCU or vice versa? explain please
great video ! thanks a lot
Question! How does this system shown in this video (AHU&FCU). Differ from a CRAC unit? Or is my idea right that CRAC can use the same chiller and ahu unit as an FCU but CRAC is just used for a different type of air delivery requirement. Hope you can answer hehe. Thanks!
thank you very much
The best HVAC tutor β¨
that's amazing explanation
thank you so much sir
The pronunciation is not clear
Thank you. that was extremely helpful
Awesome work paul
Very nice
Finally found a clear and informative explanation on proper English. Thank you very much
Was Amazing!
Great π
Itβs an amazing video but somehow I missed that why there is a Gap ? As he said that you can see there is a gap which I will explain later. Can someone please help.
Profit
Thanks for the video =)
So what;s the purpose of the gap between the supply air to the FCU and the FCU itself; why mix the air?
Hi Guys , How's know why there is a gap between the supply duct and the FCU
Why it's not considered together ?
Hi guys, why there is a gap between the supply duct and the FCU ?
It seems that an FCU and AHU are similar, but must have some specific distinctions.
I once saw a building that had packed air conditioning units in the ceiling, otherwise just like these FCUs. They had water cooled condensers, which I assumed were supplied from a central cooling tower. Never before or since had I seen anything like them. I always wondered how the hum of the compressor might sound right there in the ceiling. Donβt recall the size. They ran on 277 volt, obviously single phase.
now, lets say there is a setpoint for a room temparature, the air gets extra cold due to less occupants or high speed of the fan, dont we need control to ensure setpoint of the zone is achieved, the fan should be modulated in speed to ensure setpoint is achieved?
What is the difference between a fan coil unit and chilled beams? Do you have a video on chilled beams?
Is there, or was there older technology in a Dual Temp System that created a blended water temperature in the plant system piping before it goes out to the FCU or UV…something like a typical kitchen faucet? Great videos. They are very helpful. Keep up the good work! Thanks
Really great and easy explaination.
Thanks!
HVAC in hindi
HVAC hindi please
tank you!
I have a question. When I learned this part from other book, the unit "AHU" mentioned in your video was called "PAU"(Primary Air Unit) and "FCU"(your video) was called "AHU". Is that also right?
With Mitsubishi Multi city heat pumps the compressor and refrigerant to water coil is inside of the unit and the refrigerant to air coil sits in the VFCU that is in the ceiling is that correct? Just trying to wrap my head around these types of systems. Does that sound right?
clear explanation video, Thank you
Does anyone know does it matter whether the flow goes in the top of the fcu coil or botttom I noticed in the video he went from bottom to top on the heating ? Thank you very good video.
Great video! This has been very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks!
Great explanation π π π
What about chilled water fcu. Is it same from this?
Doesn't the AHU already control the temperature of the air? Doesn't temp control get redundant with the FCu in there?
Well explained…Hats off
We have FCUs and my job! Thanks to you I am starting to understand how it works!
Amazingly well put video, thank you!
Helps so much thank youπ
Does it mean AHU already "condition" the air once, and pass it on to the fan coil unit for the second times? It sounds pretty wasteful to condition air two times? Other than more individual control of temperature, what else is good for this system? Thanks for sharing.
At around 1:37: This fresh air is directed into the back side, the inlet, of the fan coil unit but this branch isnβt usually directly connected to the unit, there is a gap between the two.
There is a reason for that, which weβll look at later. So why isn't it connected then?
Very good explanation !. Thanks, I undestand much more now in my condo unit. High rise building Bulkheads tend to have a lot of dust inside the bulkheads as a result of fresh air from the main duct into the bulkhead space. It is unclear why my unit has this air pushed into this very large false ceiling void in my condo unit and why it is not directly placed in front of my Heating/cooling coil or connected to it. My 10 Year old highrise has lots of dust buildup inside the false ceiling void. Clearly as you say, it is to have some air mixture from the unit rooms into the ceiling grate and mix with the fresh air. Not a very good engineering design if you ask me. Maybe the false ceiling should be smaller or maybe the Fan source should have appropriate filters to manage the dust and hopefully would resolve this. thanks again
Thanks Paul! Question: is this fan coil same came which youβd shown in AHU video? I am trying to understand if it is a stand alone unit or part of AHU. Essentially the location and where it fits in HVAC system.
You've changed so many people's worlds mate.
