Farewell to HD Atlas

Boston Dynamics

  1. Remember each update release vividly, like they were just months ago. It breaks my heart when it bowed at the end. Wondering whether there is a small possibility that I love robotics more than humans.😂

  2. What is the intent with this video? Is Boston Dynamics closing their doors and with Atlas? Same thing happen with all of these other great robots like Asimo or Qrio.

  3. Great attitude to show even failure

The way Atlas falls looks very human-like.

It also shows that this is the reality of bipedal robots.

I think the feedback from Atlas will be utilized in future products.

  4. This saddens me. I’ve loved watching Atlas videos. It’s the thing of dreams and nightmares, but still very cool.
Looking forward to what’s next from BD. And I’ll still watch Spot videos. 🙂

  5. It's interesting that Atlas is designed with more human like legs, while another company went with more bird like ones (longer ankle, shorter knee)
