Seriously though I'm sure we have unspoken rules the AI won't ever find in a book. Now imagine if this text AI is combined to a vision AI, and given a physical body to actually act in the world. AI is a pocket calculator. Very fast but not intelligent. Speed is not intelligence.<br />The internal data visualization of AI is a bar chart. So AI is a decision making system that decides based on the height of bars. The non lineal nature of AI give the illusion of intelligence while indeed it is pure math.<br />AI is uncapable of real thinking:<br />* AI cannot distinguish between good and evil<br />* Cannot distinguish between friend and foe in a 4th generation warfare<br />* It is vulnerable to Simpson's paradox. Being human is not something that can ever come from numbers, algorithms etc. It is impossible. Humans have emotions, humans have conscious which is shown in their ability to decide what is right from wrong and their ability to love someone. Now love is not a random action rather love is a choice. People choose who they want to love. A.I can never make such a choice. These things show that humans have a soul or a mind, will and emotions. No matter how capable A.I becomes it will never have a mind, will and emotions. So because an A.I is made in the image of man by saying this it already cannot ever replicate man that is why it is artificial intelligence. </p> <p>Let me take this from another angle- In maths when you root a fraction that is e.g 0< 2/4< 1 the higher the number you root by the fraction gets larger but it never gets greater than 1, therefore a fraction can become 0,99999999 but it can never reach 1. A.I can give ever increasing outputs, with ever smaller inputs from humans but it can never become human, nor can it solve problems which are inherently human-these problems are the bigger questions of life:</p> <p>What is the meaning of life?<br />Where did I come from?<br />Where am I going?<br />What is truth?<br />What is love?</p> <p>These questions exist outside of the realm of A.I they are the 0,000000001 the things that A.I will never be able to do.</p> <p>By asking these questions I reject post modernism and do appeal to a meta narrative.</p> <p>These are the questions that each human asks inside of them, but A.I will never be able to answer because A.I has been made in the image of man, in other words if man cannot answer them on their own A.I never will be able to because if the creator does not have the answer neither will the created have the answer.</p> <p>So who has the answer?</p> <p>I would like to suggest that the reason you are afraid is because your identity, or sense of well being and purpose rests in your job, or your status, or your education etc.</p> <p>Tangible things that can be taken away.
