Boston Dynamics
We are excited to share some of our progress on developing Large Behavior Models (LBMs) for Atlas. This work is part of a collaboration between AI research teams at Toyota Research Institute (TRI) and Boston Dynamics. We have been building end-to-end language-conditioned policies that enable Atlas to accomplish long-horizon manipulation tasks.

I wish one day even the robots say we have enough and send these fxxking shxt to the moon. 😂
Dont make him angry!
why the fuck this dude is bugging him for real, let him do his thing!!
Canadians will be the first on the AI's hit list with all the hockey sticks we have here.
están muy lejos de sustituir a humanos,
Still light-years away from a human. Human supposedly were created entirely by accident. Or so everyone believes.
Note to self……….start buying armor piercing rounds for when these things realize they are smarter then humans.
I wonder if it's stronger than a human being
"Why does the out of control robot swarm keep attacking Canada?"
"The Hockey Sticks. They say it's some sort of childhood trauma for them."
what elon dreams about ha ha
It's all fun and games until they reveal vengeance mode.
This shii becoming fallout 4 synth's
As soon as it becomes self aware, its going to take that hockey stick and beat him with it.
oh god, what is the possessed Pixar Lamp up to this time…
Finally, a robot that can actually help with chores! 😂 Can't wait to see it fold my laundry.
My job is safe
I’d like to see a humanoid stack bales on a hay rake. It would show agility and endurance.
This guy's posture is better than mine😂
west > china
end of story
V1 Ultrakill got an upgrade
One day I would like to see the robot grab the stick then look at the person holding it
Hire him at the chickens farm – to collect eggs xD
i love how he moves around like zoidburg
One day when you poke the hockey stick, you're going to be told to do it your F self and Atlas will walk off in a sulk…!
how long until it learns it could pick up the box and just tip it in?
He is kinda cute to me
try seeing this at 5x speed
Atlas is probably like " goddamit JIM can't you just f* off im trying to finish my task! "
They will never sell Atlas?…always a prototype…..while china is selling a lot of robots….
The fact that it doesn’t get upset is remarkable. I get upset just watching them torment it with that hockey stick…
Atlas is learning the cradle to grave aspect to life. Devoid of emotion, just does the work
For anyone curious as to why the robot doesn't get upset or angry when the guy is messing with it –
The reason robots and AIs and such don't get "upset" (or feel any other emotion) about being messed with, the reason they don’t experience emotions the way humans do, is because they don’t have biological "states" that change in response to stimuli. When you feel something, what’s actually happening is that your brain is releasing chemicals (like dopamine, serotonin, cortisol, etc.) that change how your body and mind function. Those changes in state are what we describe as emotions.
For example, when you receive a gift, your brain releases dopamine and serotonin, which makes you feel “happy.” When you hear bad news, your brain released cortisol and other stress hormones, making you feel “sad.” When someone keeps messing with you while you're trying to move items from box A to box B, your brain releases adrenaline and other hormones, which makes you feel “angry.”
Emotions are the body’s chemical way of reacting to the world. They’re not abstract "feelings", but actual, measurable changes in your physical state. Robots and AIs don’t have any kind of system like that, so they simply don’t feel anything.
Why doesn't it try to block the stick? When it will do that by itself that's when you know it's smart.
"why a hockey stick?"
"let me call one-armed Jake and he can tell you the story himself"
Two questions. Why is so slow and clunky compared to other robots out there and why doesnt its hands look like human hands similar to other robots out there?
i see this model is the same testla "s robot!
When i see this i don't hope i reach retirement before i am obsolete – i hope i don't reach retirement before these are good and affordable enough to take care of me when i am old and disabled.
"Altas, let go of the stick!"
Atlas: "negative"
Aw, teasing that poor robot. Not nice.
Unitree, the best 😅
