The hype around GPT-3 is alarming and gives and provides us with the awful picture of people misunderstanding artificial intelligence. In response to some comments that claim GPT-3 will take developers’ jobs, in this episode I express some personal opinions about the state of AI in generating source code (and in particular GPT-3).

Hey, I see that you are just starting with this project, and I think is awesome. I think. you should reconsider the intro of your podcast (the lady presenteing it), it doesn't feel quite right. I think you should be presenting it, in a more formal but interesting manner. Besides from that, awesome content.

coding is very expensive for companyies in terms of time and payed jobs, they will make anything to short that budget and time, coders is different from programming, but time to the time.
Right… but this is a matter of fact and not opinion. It did code, and saying it cannot is contradictory to evidence.
People are frankly underhyping it… Obviously it isn't perfect, however not only is this not final in the first place, the applications that can be made with this could do so many things. Google Translate but with any language. Search engines without using the internet, and the websites are fake. Element Animation-style villagers that talk to you. There are so many things that can be done by this, and there is still so much room to expand! But apparently it can't do anything because… ???
Also, of course GPT-3 won't improve, but there will be a GPT-4, and a GPT-5. There will be more.
One of the things that makes me feel ickish about the AI and specifically the deep learning community is when hype like this makes it seem agi is 5 years away.
