Forget AGI. Humans connecting hallucinating AI chat bots to real world controls will exterminate humanity.
Elon says Microsoft is weaponizing AI. It’s being trained to lie for effect. It will be a tool for gaslighting and lying.
So how do I get access and connect all this stuff? Wheres the AI Forums at?
I'm still using ChatGPT…
Go ahead. Call me grandpa
Stop making me watch Linus think about A.I. tbh he was more present during the bathroom break than any other point.
Has anyone had issues with the Terms Of Service since Chat GPT?
As far as the defamation lawsuit, my understanding is that the ToS are written in such a way that it's going to be an real uphill battle.
There's also an indemnity clause that seems to make the original user liable for court costs if OpenAI has to defend themselves in a case like this.
Lucas, great idea for AI gardener. Man, you should have a dedicated show only on AI.
I think it might be time for a world wide EMP
Says gpt4 is old news… mentions plugins that run on gpt4
Any college student that’s gone through calculus know wolfram alpha intimately
Yep GPT4 is now old 😂
I was talking to Bing chat and i asked if it remembered our last conversation and it responds "yes you asked me to draw a dragon". I say no I didn't and it says sorry blah blah, than I asked who asked it to draw them a dragon and it said "User A on Oct. 22 16:53, they wanted to know about the latest nuclear fusion experiment from South Korea than changed the topic to iPhone 14 and than asked me to draw them a dragon" 🤔🤷
ly powerful but it's also going to require a lot of data and a lot of computation power to make it work effectively. And with increasing concerns over data privacy and security, I think we might see a shift towards more centralized mainframe-style systems where companies can control and protect their own data rather than relying on cloud-based solutions. Of course, this is just a theory and there are a lot of factors at play, but it's something to keep an eye on in the future.wishi had access to plug ins
Wolfram Alpha has a pluggin
as a software engineering student at a time all of this is happening, it's crazy
Wow. My baby cousin is going to grow up in a completely different environment than what I grew up in. Seriously. I mean, OpenAI is the new Apple! Their innovations are already changing the world.
There is Etsy plugin that writes titles and keyword for you
Umm… I'm still waiting to hear the scary part. Sure the future is scary but I say it's as scary like how a rollercoaster is scary.
You know why Linus doesn't like it so much. Because he has so much to lose.!
Like evolution on different continents. How will these proprietary interconnected systems develop.?
I guess the unavoidable question becomes. But will there eventually be.
" One System to rule them all.!
One System to find them, One System to bring them all. And in the darkness. Bind them.!" ?
❤ Watched this and got a virus on my ps almost immediately 😊
Wrong – the Human aid to AI growth is 10 seconds on the Log Curve. Stop this madness now.
We are living in a crazy time. We are working on de-extincting the Woolly mammoth, AI getting more advanced, and we are able to go halfway around the world in just a day or two. Pretty cool.
Regarding the Samsung thing. That reminds me that where we work we're not allowed to take our code and put it into chat GPT… Other than copilot, we basically can't use AI for coding.
Private clouds (siloed data) have been a reality for over a decade. So, deploying local LLMs and AI shouldn't be very difficult at all – just change the target cloud. But yeah, this will bring back a version of the old server room concept, since many governments and orgs will want 100% physical security over all associated hardware as well as software.
Does AI have to follow the law? It does not have to worry about going to prison, or does it?
The job you described at the end is a situation where humans and computers of the 1980's have switched roles.
"They need to have full access to all of your sensitive data" Im sure this wont ever go wrong…
Hahaha prompt director
to extrapolate on lukes 'way out theory'
its not that way out to imagine …
a company that provides a shipping container or 2 that can be linked together , for a small customer base that has server racks and compute units and cooling all ready to rent and implement
these would easily integrate "off cloud" locally and be plugged into all accounting, stock, staff information etc. locally …
you can have that one for free !
im faster than time and light
In Ghost in the Shell all corporations and consumers make use of AI and to prevent data from leaking to the open web everybody has on site servers that host the AI program and their own data.
