Just because they boost education does not mean they aren’t evil
We call it gamer language#178169
«Reading gooder» 🤡🤡
Nice grammar. Way gooder than anything I seen
Disconnected from any established _____
Nicoragua is so fucking cool. So is Noam Chomsky
Anyone else being mildly infuriated that all of the words in the thumbnail are fonts, not languages?
Those sandanistas sound pretty cool ngl what happened to them?
When my friends and I speak in numbers and not in words. Good old days…
“Gooder”
Yooo Sheeee….
The world’s oldest language is old old old old old English
I thought this was going to be about how people who use so much slang turned slang into its own language. Instead it was mostly about sign language which I was wasn't expecting at all.
Is it not possible that most of the languages we speak today were actually developed in antiquity in a much more primitive form by children?
3:13 ah shit, you got me lol
How did the teachers communicate with the kids in the first place? Can they lip-read?
When cuando haces abuso negligencia en tu país latinoamericano: el futuro es hoy oíste viejo
But terminas desarrollando una revolución cultural que logra probar diversas teorías: oh mi lente de contacto XDxdXd
Is it 9ne of the languwges we all made when we were / are kids?
Edit: HOLY SH__ I WAS RIGHT IHADNT EVEN WATCHED IT
Fun fact:
If a few children were to grow up in an environment without knowing any language, then they usually spontaneously make up their own language.
This is basically what's happening here, all of these deaf kids were brought together without knowing much of any language and just started making up their own language.
what happened at 2:17?
So you say a military dictatorship has tortured kids then made them gooder?!
This will be irrelevant once newspeak is implemented
The word dialect is missing in one part
well this language is the least speak language
why are there some many different sign languages when deaf people are already so isolated? Wouldn't it make more sense to make an international sign language? Or am I missing something?
3:20
Considering that you, a viewer, don't know what a verb agreement is
Me, who spent 7 years studying Lingustics: -_-
One thought. When kids make up a language do they ever say something is wrong per say / incorrect (?) or do they just bring in their own basis of understanding, come to terms, then proceed and whatever lasts over time becomes the norm of communicating that topic or idea. ?
Like what if we have been making languages and communication that much harder just because we stand by the idea that we MUST point out the wrong usages of the languages and EMPHASIZE MATTERS OF CORRECTNESS instead of coming by it naturally and continuing to communicate and understand? Just a thought.
Toki Pona is younger tho
While we’re trying to praise the Sandanistas, let’s not forget their human rights abuses, including oppression and mass execution of their indigenous people.
yes
0:35 "Kids reading… GOODER ?
Is this a word?
Why were these deaf kids not taught how to read? Just because they can’t use the spoken language doesn’t mean they shouldn’t use the written language. Blind people meanwhile only have the spoken language. People that are both have a different story.
0:33 wel* instead of gud*,
but other than that, this sentence is flawress
