Mastering any physical skill takes practice. Practice is the repetition of an action with the goal of improvement, and it helps us perform with more ease, speed, and confidence. But what does practice actually do to make us better at things? Annie Bosler and Don Greene explain how practice affects the inner workings of our brains.

Great video 🙂
Frequent repetition with allotted breaks.
Practice in your brain in vivid details.
Cut off distractions.
by now I'm a pro at procrastinating assignments, study, and exercise
yo if anyone is reading this just wanted to let you know I hate my life
Woow .. when I dance or exercise I do imagine my self doing the movement before actually doing it. And it’s really work
Also when you repeat some action you have to repeat it correctly or else you will master the wrong action. ?
How does this work for mental and physical skill combinations like public speaking?
Good to know
coach: Dammnit jimmy practice the shot!
jimmy: i am, mentally!
coach: dammnit we need to talk NOW
Thankyou Ted
I feel like I had been doing this subconsciously when I was young, but now I just slack off and dont improve and only have the skills I learned when I was young and so now I just average at everything I do, after I learn the basics of the activity, and "get the hang of it", I give up trying to improve… wasted talent on a lazy person lmao
So I can practise lying to myself that I have a will to live to the point where I'll actually believe that I have one?
