So I'm imagining that every level of media/relationship, from us as individuals listing our own physical requests and offers on our own devices that connect to the internet, to every larger collective/community government tailoring their own machine learning (or whatever) personal assistant software (with diverse options available, of course) help rank priorities, and do the matching of resource inputs and outputs most effectively. This is basically your idea of rewarding individuals who "make the best predictions" with a higher ranking, based on an individual's or group's goals, but for EVERYTHING we need/want to input and output, not just new ideas.
The algorithmic agent can browse the internet for the kinds of resources — of all manner, physical, emotional, intellectual, or philosophical — that have made us healthier before, and identify similar things for us to consider in the future. And the agent can also help automatically rank sources and resources (funny how those are similar words…) so that we don't have to spend as much time doing it.
If our goal is looking for new theories/predictions/data, then the agent will look for those, and rank them on how well they are likely to do in serving our specific goals (the reason we're looking for that theory/prediction/data), so that we don't have to wade through an infinite amount of possibilities, and can hone in on the stuff we're most interested in.
And when outputting resources, our agent can help rank the best audience for it, based on what kinds of needs it is likely to serve well, and send out that "advertisement" to other agents, so that good matches are easier for everyone to find.
Basically, I'm just now realizing how there won't be a single computer system doing all of the matching, but everyone will have their own, and the agents will talk to one another, negotiating on our behalf, using their own language of quantifying what's "good" for us.
There will also be a larger system that might be more universal, that serves our philosophical, and to some extent, scientific, needs as a planet, too. But it will be emergent, I bet, with our individual agents' outputs being created out of the bottom-up collaborative thinking.
Oh my gosh, spot on!🤗😃
