Raj Ramesh

There are so many tools and choices out there that setting up an environment for newcomers could be daunting and confusing.

Here I provide a simple yet powerful setup so you can get started on your ML/DL experimentation

  1. Thank you for the video, really helped to clear up a lot on this usually complex issue. Curious to know how this environment would look with Java as a base language and how that would stack up against the more commonly used Python and R. Thanks again.

  2. Thank you very much. I just built my first computer/ deep learning rig and am about to start working on my programming environment next. Any recommnedation on operating systems? I have heard a lot about Ubuntu, but would also like to stick to Microsoft so I can use this new computer to satisfy a gaming hobby of mine as well lol. Great video! liked/sbscrbd

  3. At ~ one year distance I view this … nice and simple and clear. Thanks for that. What I will want to know how to start use / apply ML or AI for a project, what steps are needed?
    Thanks in advance

  4. Great explanation sir.. I'm pretty pleased that I've set up an environment containing some of the libraries (except Keras and Tensorflow) you've mentioned even before watching this video.. However, what would you consider the minimum hardware requirement for this environment to optimally run? I'm running mine on an old macbook pro 13" 2012 (2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, 500 GB HDD)..Im thinking of upgrading maybe soon to something with at least i5 8th Gen processors, 8GB RAM, 256 GB, SSD (the newly released Huawei Matebook D seems like a good choice for the buck for this; yes, in an extremely tight budget *sigh).
