Chatter started to pick up mid November and I still see Google SERPs going up and down.
Is there a Google Update going on in November 2020?
In fact, the Search Engine team from Mountain View claimed that it won’t push any Core Update in production before the end of 2020. IMO it’s pure propaganda. You must remember that a new boss is in charge of Search, Ads and Assistant. I see moves all over the place on Alphabet Inc. properties, including the search engine. I don’t see how it’s even possible to press pause on features development and algorithms improvement.
My advice is to get ready for non stop SERP shaking for a while. Until they figure out how to scale up Machine Learning and integrate better Search with Ads and Assistant, prepare yourself for a rollercoaster ride.
