Ternary Data
In this Data Nerd Herd interview, we are joined by Josh Tobin, a leading expert in production machine learning. Josh is working hard to turn production ML from an art to an engineering discipline. And he’s doing a fantastic job at this, leading the popular Full Stack Deep Learning course at UC Berkeley, as well as running a stealth startup dedicated to helping companies succeed with ML in the real world.
We discuss the challenges that companies face with production ML, why the world is moving beyond simply making models and toward MLOps and infrastructure, the hardest parts of production ML, and much, much more.
Enjoy.
