“KidsMeet… Inuit Culture and Language of Nunatsiavut Labrador” is a free live online webcast, open to all K-8 classes in Canada.
This month, the Kids’ Guide to Canada project continues our “KidsMeet Canada” series by learning about the Inuit who live in Labrador and the Inuktitut language. Our teacher will be ANGUS ANDERSEN, an Inuit man whose passion is to share and preserve his Inuit history, culture, and language.
Angus will share information about life in Inuit Nunatsiavut communities, and then he’s going to teach us how to say a few words and phrases in his Inuttut language! You can learn more about Angus by going to the webpage about this webcast at akgtcanada.com/kidsmeet-inuit-labrador
Come learn about life in Labrador’s Inuit culture and language from an elder who grew up there!
