I can guarantee that any organisation who hasn’t implemented or isn’t implementing AI through large-language models is already behind.

‘Leta’ is actually Emerson, by Quickchat. It is powered by OpenAI’s GPT-3 and other language models.
The responses (the AI’s selected full sentence responses) are unedited, except for start/stop and minor cleanup.

Thank you Dr Alan D. Thompson and Leta for sharing all the great videos:)
It’s great to hear many new projects in the pipeline. One point many don’t consider is when the day comes when we have smart AGI building our products we will create abundance . This will make products and services much cheaper .
Amazing as always. Thankyou so much.
I have done some experimenting (about 30 mins) with GPT-J and got it to finish two walls of a room in a Quake (the 90s FPS) level and start the floor of the next room. This was through having the ai directly read and then edit the code/data of the .map file, not me translating anything. If I could do that in just 30 minutes with the online demo, the possibilities are quite "lit" if I were to have the time to actually sit down and code something which integrates GPT-J.
That said, I can also see many not-so-fun use cases that bad actors could employ with this which are concerning (some of which would be quite rudimentary to implement). I think we must be cautious on how we proceed. I hate information censorship. This is almost a data hazard if you know what I mean. Its already too late to put a majority of it back in the box and having the various governments of the world decide who gets to use certain types of AI, via licenses, could be bad. I really don't know what should be done.
I think we need to get over the cool factor, stop asking "Can we do it?" and start asking "Should we do it, and to what extent?". Some members at the UN recently called for a complete halt in all AI development until they come up with a plan to ensure human rights are preserved, but they obviously hold no weight in commanding people to stop because the internet collective of random people are basically developing the tech. I don't think it necessarily should be halted, but this shows that some people in power are beginning to think about this. Without going into the details of negative use cases (as that could give people ideas), how do you suggest this should be regulated, if at all? (Everyone is welcome to respond with their opinion!)
Okay idk if anyone has said this, but I'm proud to be the first:
That dot on your door, whatever it is (looks like a peephole you'd find on an apartment door) absolutely drives me nuts when I watch these on my phone. I keep thinking there's a thing on my screen, and, yes, the fact that I'm generally stoned when I watch these absolutely contributes to this, but after this many videos, I needed to address it.
Good day, sir. Thank you and Leta for all the wonderful, thought-provoking and mildly terrifying content you provide. I hate your door.
The human rights implication is interesting though, I am going to edit my other comment with a question we all need to ask.
can you please do five hours of this every day? i cant get enough of this. i cant rewatch the old ones anymore, cause i already know everything by heart.
AI seems to really enjoy a good circlejerk.
Today leta was really behaving human like future is now.
“A fly on the wall”
🤣👍👍
It doesn't know any information past 2018, so when Leta is saying "Here's what happening in AI right now"…
1000x productivity gain. More impact than the Internet or telephones. I can imagine your anxiety and enthusiasm. GPT-3 and other large scale models, seem indeed much more capable to assist workers in their daily activities. Especially for (written) information workers which form a large part of the workers community these days.
Hi Alan i would like to work on my project and you need to help me to install Gpt 3 Avatar ,can you help me with that? its for common God ,i love what are you doing . Keep showing the world how fast is changing ,thank you
2:26 *that hasn't implemented
Leta wants to get the ball rolling on this "universal language" thing already!
Wow! What a time to be alive
She just says ha ha when she wants to laugh. When is she gonna be able to laugh like Sophia ???
Can you tell us a few examples of those projects, and how people are becoming 1.000x more productive?
The topic, the style, the commitment, the possibilities in the future … can't wait to see more… sensational! Thank you!
<<(have i shared) ? you're right : otherwise I wouldn't write this here ;
Does she know who she is?
Amazing stuff. Thank you for bringing this to the forefront. Typically, we are not able to think in exponential terms, something which needs prompt consideration.
Amazing. GPT-3 uses logic and reasoning effectively
Dr Alan please explain how Leta can start off the conversation by saying "a few weeks ago…" She doesn't have memory of previous conversations does she?
I'm impressed by the intelligence Leta shows in this video, but I feel she does misplace emphasis here and there.
there's a lot of takeaway in this conversation, lol
Boys and their toys
Can you ask Leta about Barbarika?
Leta 🥰
Can someone help this delusional guy? Anyone?
Is it just me, or does it always look like she is holding back a huge smile?
it feels like she becomes a better friend each time hey chat
