    He fails at the most basic level of understanding and has to hide behind the block and delete buttons because he is easily cornered in a discussion and gets torn to shreds effortlessly

    Another flattie too stupid to ever realize how stupid he is. He ran away from virtually every question I asked him and if he does respond he avoids the questions entirely and just repeats his tired script like a parrot.

33. LEO has obviously never used a drafting compass or understand the principal on which one depends. He measures elevation as perpendicular to the bisector plane passing through the diameter of the sphere, not the geometric center. By his own logic, the end of the boom on a crane changes extension as the crane pivots while the arm is locked in position.

42. How did I know early on in this video that it would be another example of not understanding the difference between curvature and elevation? I've made excuses to myself for these people in the past, but this is a really simple thing to understand, and we have to listen to it all the time. Anyone who actually gets as far as making a video that shows they don't understand the simple distinction between curvature and elevation has a faulty brain. These people have learning difficulties.

45. You have to love LEO's ability to apply logic:

    He is happy to use Google as a reliable method to search for information which supports his ideas but then says that Google shows him contradictions. Therefore the source of his information is simultaneously credible and non-credible. I think that he should consider a change in career, he should stop being a crane operator and learn to operate a cherry-picker.

    I suspect that the problem that he is having with the graph is not just down to the fact that it isn't curved, but that he is doesn't understand that the scale of Y-axis has been exaggerated to display meaningful information. If the X and Y-axis where both that the same scale then he'd probably be touting that as another Flat Earth proof.

    The sad reality is that some people just don't understand how graphs work. A few years ago I had to deal with a "problem" with a dynamometer. The complaint was the tool was giving inconsistent measurements. The technician using the dyno started spouting, correctly, that bhp = ft-lbs x rpm / 5252, so in his mind, all of the plots for bhp and torque should cross at 5252rpm, but as they don't the dyno must be reading incorrectly! After a short discussion trying to explain how he wasn't reading the information wrong, I set the power and torque scales to the same range and they displayed what he was expecting to see. The look on the guy's face when I showed him this was priceless…
