The team is on track to launch Perseverance in July 2020 and land in Mars’ Jezero Crater in February 2021.

  3. I wonder about the difference in engineering culture between SpaceX and JPL. I suspect that transition might have been significant.

  4. She started grad school after the curiosity rover launched, probably aged out of SpaceX by hitting 30, gained all experience through formal employment, not DIY projects like men tend to have.
