Circulus (CEO, Park Jong-geon) participates as a joint venture of Smart Venture Business Incubation School in the ‘4YFN’, a global start-up fair co-hosted with ‘MWC 2017′ from February 27 to March 2, and introduces intelligent robot, pibo.
Circulus’ pibo is a companion robot for household uses. Through dialogue, it can grasp user’s taste and feelings, and it keeps the user’s registered schedule like secretary. In addition, users share their conversations, photos, and events via the robot social network.
Based on user’s interest, it recommends other users or offers customized services, and IoT function allows you to remotely manipulate and send messages via your smartphone.
In addition, it provides a cloud development environment in which users can directly create applications for robots, so users can create apps by drag & drop operation according to the time and situation that they want.
“The personal robot is eventually software”, Circulus said. “Anyone can design their own robot with simple programming and add or share new features”, Circulus added. Circulus hopes to advance into the US, China and Japan, and the ultimate goal is “to create an entry-level robot that anyone can use at home”, he said.
Meanwhile, 4YFN (4 Years From Now), co-hosted with MWC 2017 (Mobile World Congress 2017), is a global startup exhibition featuring exhibitions, conferences, contests and investor meetings. Start-ups, venture capital and incubators with innovative technologies meet in one place and are held at Fira Montjuic in the same period as MWC.
The global news network Aving News, which has delivered the most issues of CES, MWC and IFA, which are the world’s top three tech exhibitions over the past decade, will also send a special report team to the MWC to report major issues in the market. Also, as part of ‘MADE IN KOREA & MADE BY KOREA’ project, it will find companies from Korea who participated in the exhibition and introduce them to all over the world.
