  1. A great alternative to Andew Ng's Machine Learning course is his Deep Learning Specialization. Especially the first course – "Neural Networks and Deep Learning". Its in Python, the syllebus is the same as the previous course with Octave.

  2. Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else trying to find out reiki classes online courses try Bablim Reiki Healing Booster (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my neighbor got great results with it.

  3. I have been selected as a data and analytics practitioner in a big data company.I have completed the IBM data science on coursera.Your video really showed me the path to cover now.I am excited to complete the journey that you showed. Thanks a lot.

  4. Is there any specific reason why the deep learning specialization is before the machine learning course? On the Machine Learning page, they recommend a basic knowledge of machine learning and they list Andrew Ng's course as prerequisite. Would you recommend taking the ML course before deep learning?

  5. I started off with Mathematics specialization for Machine Learning and currently on Week 3. I love it. Thank you for the recommendation. I felt Coursera Plus annual subscription is the most economical option here in India. It's priced at ₹29,000 (US$382). All courses are free to enroll within a year and you get verified certificate as well.

  6. Crux of this video:
    1. Machine Learning course by Andrew Ng
    2. Python for Everybody
    3. Applied Data Science with Python Specialization – Michgan University.
    4. Deep Learning
    5. Mathematics for Machine Learning

  7. I am a Mechanical Engineer but at the same time deeply interested in IT/Software sector and looking forward to work in that sector as well and to do that I want to begin with Python . Can someone here help me out on which courses to choose from basic Python beginner to advancing to advance Machine Learning (or Advance Data science) ? (* Coursera mostly recommended)

  8. I started Machine learning by Andrew Ng, couldn’t understand math after I reached neural networks took a pause. Started Mathematics for machine learning, refreshed my math skills like multivariate calculus, linear algebra and matrices . Then finished Machine learning . Now working towards deep learning. I also recommend some YouTube channels like 3b1b and StatQuest with Josh Starmer etc…..

  9. For ML by Andrew NG, you may need to review some math topics before starting (like Calculus, Algebra, Matrices etc ) in order to have a smooth experience…

Just so you know…Else, it may seem difficult but trust me, it's simple…..

  10. Hello, I am Aman Sahu I am 3rd year IT engineering student I am from India, I have enrolled for deeplearning specialization and I have to give no money for that.

  11. The machine learning by andrew ng was really good. and i understand everything in it, mostly because i have taken a statistical learning course in my university. and i realise the resemblance , and i realise how good my lecturers were in that course. Glad that the three of these professors taught me alot about machine learning.

  12. i am graphic designer past 10 years. so you can understand how my mind works. i want to change my carrier. do i have inbuilt mind skill to be data scientist or do machine learning you suggest anything else to try pls???

  13. I took most of those courses and still did not manage to get a job in machine learning.
I think that all of this machine learning stuff is nothing but a hype

  14. Thanks for the info!
What's the difference between the course "Applied Data science" offered by IBM, and "IBM Data Science" also offered by IBM? They do overlap at some point, but the latter has more courses. What do you think?

  15. Due to Covid-19 Situation all courses on Coursera are now free for students! Just sign up with your university email and enroll in any course by July 31st, then you can attend it by September 30th. Go learn people!

  16. Update: Andrew Ng now has a Deep Learning series with other instructors, and it uses Python! I just started it yesterday, and it is FANTASTIC.

  17. Hi Giles. This was an amazing video and very informative. I have a clear understanding of the learning path I should take to reach a good level of mastery in data science. There is another course I have heard a lot about and it is one of the most popular courses in Coursera. It is the Data Science Professional Certificate by IBM. Could you also give your opinion on that course?
