  1. It was brilliant to hear about a near death experience from someone that is actually in touch with reality 🙂

  2. Every experience is different . Some years ago I was in a very bad car accident , and I could recall my second grade teacher . I had not seen her in some twenty odd years ,but during the accident there she was in my consciousness clear as can be .

  3. Its understadable that he feels grateful. But this 'goodness', sadly may comsume the rest of life on the planet. We all want to survive and if we do, then ultimately the state of the planet may not be in a position to offer us the luxury of choice. In spite of our goodness.

  4. He didn't have an NDE but he WILL meet God one of these days and he had better prepare now while there is still time. I have had several surgeries and I have never had an NDE but I am not sorry for that. I do not want to die before my time but I am not afraid of death because I know where I am going. Jesus Christ is Lord! Maranatha!

  5. @hardinmichael1981: I never said God punishes us for using our brains! God said to test every spirit to see if it is of God. We can question all we want to. What we are not to do is call God a liar and reject His Son Yeshua.

  6. @hardinmichael1981: Why not what? Call God a liar and reject the sacrifice of His son Yeshua? If that is your question you are in more trouble than I can help you with. May God have mercy on you soul.

  7. One has to wonder how close to death he actually was as it appears that those with the purported near death experiences of a tunnel, light, etc. have actually been declared clinically dead with no brain waves, etc. His medical staff acted very quickly on his behalf. Must have been a great hospital.

  8. @cunnidvd touché… although i wish to claim that I have a better base of judging christians then u have dan dennett…. he is a great man…

  9. I hate it when someone survives an operation and says "Thank God". How utterly ungrateful and egotistic. I guess the skill of the doctors had nothing to do with it, and as if they're so very special that God would intervene to save their life, but happily do nothing while a hundred thousand die in a tsunami. I guess God didnt like those people as much. Then again, maybe so. God is a total dick according to the Bible, so I wouldnt put that past him.

  10. @DeusExAstra i'll agree with you that the "god" of the bible is a total dick.but, you probably also know that was just stupid primitive men trying to set laws basically.i had actual hate for god if he existed(the biblical god),for that simple fact..being a jealous,childish,genocidal..etc.. type god.i'm guessing your athiest,i was..now i don't really have a title, not even agnostic..not sure there is a title. anyway, you should check out a vid (nanci danison's afterlife experience)…

  11. @DeusExAstra what if it was a "god" or source..or whatever, energy i guess…that was behind everything? no arguements..just want another person similar to my thoughts to give me an idea of what they thought of that video.evolution would still make sense, book gods are still man made shit…just a source that is non-judging.we would all be god essentially, kinda hard to grasp..makes the most sense to me. all my friends are christian,so it's pointless to ask them..or u can tell me to fuck off..lol

  12. So what, you didn't die for over seven minutes, so it's rational that you would not leave your body, but nearly millions of people have genuinely left their body, and have gone to the other side of the vail. Many atheists have done so, and come back dramatically changed, and become very strong in their faith and relationship with God. Maybe you didn't have a near death experience because you work so hard to disprove God, that God did not feel you were worthy of the experience! May you find t

  13. @Blodhosta They're people who expected something different…Angie Fenimore, another NDEer just said today, all I can tell you is what I experienced…she was responding to someone who said, well, here's what happened to me. The thing is, she was right–we have to take Dennett at his word, not expect what we want to hear–at the same time, even though Dennett was near death, NDE generally refers to people who had a conscious experience at a time when their vital signs say they shouldnt–not this

  14. If God did not exist, why would one care if they lived? Why would you "thank goodness?" In the scope of everything in this universe, why on earth would there be one reason to get up in the morning, or care to be good?

  15. are we talking throughn ones elbows agin? you cant prove a dang thing of wat ye just said! just tryin to be mister intelectual –but really u are just a pseudo inteletual in other words a smarty aleck who know a heap of nothing. u an ur humanity. how come we are such a mess down here if humanity is so great ? thers never been peace. cos mankind is hopeless sans God. love ya pardner!

  16. what uneducated comments like toobsucker said he never died that was God giving him a chance to get it right. every video has the most dispicable comments it shows the dumbing of america . keep eating those hamburgers and french fries b/c the japenese are just getting smarter and we are daaaaa. eat fish .like he said he never died . i worked with dumb people and its showing again. daaaa. comprehension is terrible. God is giving him a chance watch howard storm and you will see the difference.

  17. I dont dicount his testimony at all. He was honest in his assesment of what happened. Thank goodness he said. In 1968 I was involed in a motorcycle accident. My experience was not the same at all. Three days after the accident I started to vomit blood from internal problems. Mine is Thank God. I died in intensive care and my soul or consence state left my body. Thank God I cried out to him. and my conscienc state returned to my body. That was part of my expience. But that is only part of it.

  18. all atheists should read the big book of near death experiences…there is overwhelming data to support the notions of a creator and an afterlife…It blows my mind the arrogance of atheists who cannot even fathom that thousands of individual accounts all testify to the same thing…I'm not talking about religion, I'm talking about experiences beyond the physical body that prove that existence of a soul, afterlife and Higher Power…Why are you all so closed minded and afraid?
