  1. Pretty impressive for the first run. I'd like to see what the map looked like after the first run compared to several runs. I know it took the Shark IQ a few tries to get a good map of my house, but once it did it, it does an excellent job on my floors with a very accurate map.

  2. Very good info. I think it got confused after it got stuck and that's why it didn't clean all areas. How did it clean close to walls and corners? I have an old Neato D75 and they always miss the area when there is a corner and it turns the corner it turns wide and misses a lot of area where other robots turn a lot quicker and have a bigger side-brush that will take care of that area. Looking forward to more tests. I must say my Neato cleans REALLY good it sucks up a lot of hair and it have a huge bin. Love my D75 and I keep buying spare parts to keep it running.

  3. I’ve owned a D3 for years and use it 2-3 times a week. Works great and never breaks down. Stock battery was terrible in terms of lasting and then dying in 1 year but bought the upgrade and it’s been working for 2 years…no issues. Great product and good tech support.

  4. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  5. Good info, would have liked an evaluation of how it deals with corners, which seems to be one of their selling points.

  6. Neato D8 is the worst vacuum ever. I have owned a Neato vacuum for 10 years and will never buy another. You will waste you time setting it up only to come home and find the vacuum in the middle of the floor blinking and that is about all it does. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

  7. i think you can buy the neato d9 battery (200 min) or the d10 (300 min) and put it in this? idk maybe
also i think the d10 has the feature where it knows how much charge it needs and resumes when it reaches that point.. idk i wish i owned one because they've fixed the software issues…

  8. It should be a plus that it can go back to charge if needed on its own and pick up where it left off. The D8 is on low end of their newest line. It's default battery can do 100 minutes, but if you get 3rd party batteries (which will void your warranty if its still under warranty) you can double or more the run time. The original is a 14.4v 2100mAh LiOn battery which I replaced with a 14,4v 6000mAh LiP0 battery instead. It can now run 300+ minutes. Also the D series all use the same filter, brush and side brushes. So getting 3rd party copy-cats of the D9 filters and brush will be a big $$$ savings. I ended up getting D9 filters… a 10 pack for only $16. Side brush $2.50 for a four pack which have slighly longer bristles than the D8 but it fits and works perfectly. The main brush on the D9 is better than the combo brush on the D8 and the copy-cat version, I got 3 for only $21. All on TEMU.
