  1. He should take his own advice when talking about God. He knows enough to think he is right but not enough to know that he is wrong.

  2. "One of the great challenges in this world is knowing enough about a subject to think you're right, but not enough about the subject to know you're wrong."

"It is not good enough to be right, you also have to be EFFECTIVE."

"A proper skeptic questions what they're unsure of, but recognizes when valid evidence is presented to change their minds."

"…so you can turn data into information. Information into knowledge. Knowledge into wisdom".

Those statements are a masterclass by themselves.

  3. Love you Neil deGrasse Tyson!!!
And I must say, that is just from watching an "enough about the subject" commercial, really. It must be some positive perception of a person via "gut feeling" and physiognomy….
    Best wishes!

  4. I force people arround me to stop what there doing to watch this trailer, and everyone that has asked me where can I sign up… And I tell them check out the top comment under the video.

  5. He doesn't want to think you how to think. He wants to CONTROL your thinking. He is the evangelist of the religion of science!

  6. I like this video because it talks about objective truth which is something I'm always trying to explain to people, but can we agree that even science is not true? I suppose even deGrasse thinks so because he said "trying to get closer to objective truth", indeed science is a human construct that in my opinion happens to be able to describe phenomena we experience, but if you think about it science is based on numbers, which are not a truth but a concept made up by the humankind.

    Do you agree?
