New thermal screening device powered by artificial intelligence to speed up temperature checks

A new temperature screening device powered by artificial intelligence (AI) could reduce the time and manpower needed to detect those who are running a fever. The device, developed by Integrated Health Information Systems and local start-up KroniKare, is being piloted. Called iThermo, the real-time screening device uses thermal cameras, 3D laser cameras and an artificial intelligence app to measure forehead temperatures within a three-metre range.   1. Except that there have been PROVEN cases of coronavirus patients who have tested POSITIVE with NO FEVER…So if this is their 1st defense/detection method we're screwed. All those ppl who came from China in the early days that were let thru the airports all over the world very well could've been carrying the virus. Its inevitable this is going to get worse because they just don't understand what they need to about this virus😔
