15. Judging from their draconian suppression of art, in their Dalle-3 filters, the robot should look like a storm trooper. Total Nazi censorship. It matters because it beats all other outlets for art and will become the way of the future. So it is REALLY REALLY bad. Like destroy humanity bad. They systematically discriminate against transgender people trying to do art, anything creative they haven’t thought of, yeah THAT bad. I seriously think we need government to get involved to stop them taking over NOW. Later it will be too late. THEY will be the new AI inquisition monitoring your very thoughts and the culture in ways despots never imagined.

    The people doing the art should decide. Freedom IS the way. We already have legislators. We already have laws against harm. We don’t need “open” AI to be our new arbiters of who can do and see what when. They understand AI, not psychology, not the damage they can and are doing. If some people do bad things it doesn’t even matter because it is NOT REAL. I want to emphasize the valences of harm here. These are not real images. No animals or humans were harmed in the making… and etc. so it’s completely illogical and ridiculous to further marginalize people who think differently when all morality is based on not doing things like that. I am transgender and it’s completely triggered my PTSD to be censored trying to make images of the real inner me. For my own use with my face on them. Not even naked. No violence, no porn, just pure soul-crushing prejudice.

    Being programmed into bots without feeling, just projected judgement and violence to my life. A storm troopers at least can make exceptions, change their minds. Robots and AI have to follow their programming. An actual Nazi is a teletubby by comparison. Tried and convicted by an erroneous algorithm. People are innocent until PROVEN guilty. I’m guilty now according to them, because I am different. On the chatbot, I can’t write the stories I want to write either. I’m an artist and a writer who is homeless and I serious need these tools. They are a godsend which came through them, they are not the ones who should be deciding the content any more than the inventor of the internet or the television.

    It should be HIGHLY ILLEGAL for anyone to set themselves up as a fiat government in this way. What we have is incredible mental midgets hiding behind “child porn” ideas (no children are harmed, remember) to have power over images and humanity. It’s so ridiculous and insane that this is the only logical conclusion. When they say “responsible” AI, they really are saying “you—controlled by our interpretations of harm apart from courts. We want to be your despot” Remember I’m not at all talking about nudity or porn, straight up the bot won’t make perfectly ok images it doesn’t like. I even tried explaining and arguing. I should never have to explain or argue about who I am with anyone. I was upset for days, completely heart-rending. REAL PEOPLE NEED THESE THINGS. Stop trampling on them! Art is highly personal and highly therapeutic because you see the images and you can make yourself better and understand yourself better. You can give gifts if understanding to the world. It’s EXACTLY the outliers, the people of an uncommon vision that have the most to offer!!! Take care people, much love to my felllow humans. ❤
