Part 42 – Chapter 2, Stanza 17. http://www.crystalclarity.com/product.php?code=BEBPB The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita Explained by Paramhansa Yogananda as remembered by his disciple, Swami Kriyananda. This book shares the profound insights of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi, as remembered by one of his few remaining direct disciples, Swami Kriyananda.
This revelation of India’s best-loved scripture approaches it from an entirely fresh perspective, showing its deep allegorical meaning and also its down-to-earth practicality. The themes presented are universal: how to achieve victory in life in union with the divine; how to prepare for life’s “final exam,” death, and what happens afterward; how to triumph over all pain and suffering.
Swami Kriyananda worked with Paramhansa Yogananda in 1950 while the Master completed his commentary of the Bhagavad Gita. At that time Yogananda commissioned him to disseminate his teachings world-wide. Kriyananda has in his lifetime lectured, taught, and written over one hundred books based on Yogananda’s teachings.
The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita is available from Crystal Clarity Publishers.

Beloved Swamiji ! Always such a pleasure listening to his wise words full of love and kindness ❤😇
I love and respect you beloved Swamiji!
Admittedly I am new(ish) to the path, however I have just one question as to your talk:
If unhappiness resides in the lower chakras, then doesn't happiness as well? Are they not the same thing really?
(I understand that Swamiji has left the body, if anyone has an answer I would appreciate it)
I love you, beloved Swamiji <3
So I think I am sinking in the world of consciousness and qauntum mechanics… how to do I stay above the surface and still make sense of all this…
I wish Dr. Quantum had his own show… he explains everything just right
@lyntonio
who's fault *is* it? if not Yours
"Happiness is a better delusion"
When you're talking, I feel like my father is talking to me. He's in heaven since 2004 at the age of 94. I love him, and I love you too.
thanks, Swamiji
your talks are always very helpful to me.
I've noticed in myself and others over the years that learning to let go of avarice and anger dramatically lightens one's Spirit and allows Spirit (through kundalini) to naturally rise above whatever is heavier than Spirit (such as avarice and anger), much as helium naturally rises above air. Many yoga teachers recommend "forcing" kundalini in some way, whereas emphasizing a process of "letting go" may be much more fruitful. Whether this contradicts Swami K's teaching or not, I don't know.
Thank you! Namaste!
