  1. I am a fairly new painter but i HAVE to have this painting in my bedroom. I guess i am going to learn to paint a rose?
    Thanks you for this tutorial!

  2. You’re just so good with colour and make it all look so easy. Do you think better quality paints are better cos I have some cheap ones as I’m starting out and they don’t cover the colour underneath. It’s just like a layer of glaze over the colour underneath. Should I wait til each layer dries before applying another? Loved your tip about looking at it as an abstract if it doesn’t work out . I needed that! Thank you!

  3. I’m a Ukrainian Canadian (sounds stupid doesn’t it) and just stumbled onto you and already I’m in love. Watching tonight and will give it a go tomorrow. I, by the way, have hundreds of abstracts, lol. ?

  4. Hi Katie! I love your tutorials because they help me create something even though I dont have the skills on my own ? I've been trying to take your advice, though, and paint for the enjoyment instead of the product, but I find myself frustrated. Either i dont know what to paint, or i feel discouraged if i dont like what I've made…. do you have any suggestions or advice? Thank you!! ?
