Syntax – rules of grammar while semantic – meaning of sentence. sum = a + b is correct syntactically but semantically incorrect because a character cannot be added to number as it makes no sense.

There is a huge error in explanation .Syntax analyzer validates grammar not semantic analyzer.
probably many would have already written wrong answer by now.. in their Exams.😂🤣🤣
