This video calculates the time between successive meridian passes for Phobos and Deimos as viewed by an observer on Mars. Sketches are also shown to explain the time calculations. This is not the time from “Quarter Moon” to “Quarter Moon” or any other configuration relative to the Sun. This time is in reference to the observer’s horizon. Introductory Astronomy
