Hello I have become fan of your videos since I enrolled in a Master's Degree in Language Teaching. Today I have a special task about syllabic division where the teacher gives a word and four options to its syllabic division, obviously only one is correct. I have to give reasons why the others are not correct and I am having problems with the reasons of why /maʊntn/(one syllable) and /təʊtl/ (one syllable are not possible. Could you help me to find the reason, please?
Thakn you
