After developing the first commercially-produced microprocessor for Intel more than a half-century ago, physicist and engineer Federico Faggin has seen it all in the world of computing.
That is, until Federico spent many years working on creating a conscious computer before concluding such a thing was impossible.

It's really difficult when you try to expand knowledge and there are only negative responses, when I speak through your teachings, people contradict me, as if I am inventing it for the first time.. others laugh, others criticize those who learned it from…
I can only move forward alone at the moment and out of every 20 people maybe you will come across someone who understands, knows and expands as well.
The only feeling that comes to me is sadness

often times i had this being the observer and being observed as a kid when i looked to my hands and said "what is that? why do i have 10 fingers, where am i? what is this place who am i?" or smoking weed puts me in that state. Feels like i am in a movie. I watch the Movie, a play in the movie, i am the director and the actor at the same time 🤣
