I would believe the "cyber warriors" have problems outside the internet yet social media is a platform to amplify ones thoughts and emotions. so being unhinged online is probably a issue a therapist should be solving lol.
Its almost like a bully who beats on vulnerable nerds because his own parents beat him and are alcoholics with there own unsolved issues.
There's a lot of people struggling, man. Badly. If he human species is going to survive then we have to create the conditions for it to succeed. Doing otherwise, while celebrating the few who make it stirs justified anger. You tune it out and it will only grow. Human suffering will only get worse. You should not tune that out.
Lex lowkey trying to get ideas from Geo for his twitter competitor.
People are gonna say
You copy the copycat
The problem is 'commonflooding'. If a community gets bigger the amount of people that are just less interested and/or less intelligent also increase and muddle the discussion and content, driving away the earlier people.
I believe an elegant first start is commenting based on your real identity instead of anonymous
I immediately lost all respect for this guy when he recommended Atlas shrugged.
What I hate the most is when someone googles something, especially during an argument, and then starts acting like everyone else is an idiot for not knowing what they just learned 5 mins ago
While I'm not one of these critics, nor support them — I do feel that many want Elon Musk to fail …not for any particular dislike of his vision or the contributions to Humanity, but rather because his celebrity and persona invites himself to a lot of criticism.. due to Ego, boastfulness, and seemingly misleading nature of his promises.
Lex they want others to fail cos they are projecting their shadow onto those that are sycceeding
I feel that toxicity is the only thing that makes the internet interesting anymore. Wanting everything to be placid is like wanting death/Nirvana. More toxicity please. Bring it on! BLOOD AND SOULS FOR LORD ARIOCH!
Simply to answer, because of dishonesty of Elon Musk. A friend of mine bought Teslas Solar Roof, he is waiting until today to get it. Same with if you preorder a Tesla. So Tesla is in a big bubble and it will goes down. Also Hyperloop and the froster thing is sounds to me so scammy. Tesla becomming more like a religion.

Commenters might not be representative of the population but they may represent people who care enough to sit down and listen to what you have to say.
occasionally there are small online communities of awesome folks! I've found certain car forums for lower volume models are really good, like the 3rd gen MR2
Another thing I've noticed: I live in a high vehicle traffic area and people in cars are fairly mean to each other, but when I ride my motorcycle there's a marked uptick in politeness to me. I think seeing people as people rather than a metal box helps this reaction along
Above all else, the oil giants want Elon Musk to fail. According to Musk, "attacks on electric cars by the oil industry are on a par with misinformation campaigns promoted by big tobacco companies and vested interests undermining climate science."
More broadly, anyone tied to oil and gas wants Musk to fail and oil industry misinformation campaigns have turned most "car guys" in America into electric car haters and die-hard Trump supporters.
Of the $50 million that the oil and gas industry has donated to federal candidates ahead of the 2020 election, 90% has gone to Republican candidates.
"If you're a politician and you want to win and you've got a big part of your support from oil and gas, there's a limit to how far you are going to push that situation," Musk said.
Lex encourages me to be a better commentator. I hope you figure out how to make positivity viral. I want to help.
Mr Lex you are onto something there. do it do something . the only way to change something is to DO –it turns into leading. LEAD WITH LOVE . KEEP BEING POSITIVE . LETS UNLEASH LOVE UPON THE NET! <3
When your neighbor gets a new Tesla just admire it and work to get one your self don’t key it while they are sleeping
I think a possible solution would be twofold: (1) Require all users to not be anonymous. They must register with the site and have their identities verified. Their actual names and pictures must be displayed. (2) The company that owns the site must constantly and clearly communicate the the values it wishes to foster and sustain on the site. However, the company should not police comments or suppress free speech. I think that if the company is sincere and the values it promotes are worthy, the intended positive environment will be created, for the most part.
how to reduce internet toxicity: learn not to be a baby. learning to shrug off meaningless insults and failing gracefully is what it means to be a mature adult.
