Q Images on the news are not objective reality thus spinning in any direction is created through the simulation software to make the images on the television and dont reflect what is happening. Its all fake. No instruments could ever measure this data let alone turn it into an hurricane image. its the same with fake space and images. all created via artistic impersonation. Very dishonest. My dear professor what you tell here is scientifically wrong. In the case of the Coriolis effect, the body makes a rotational movement together with de rotational reference frame and at the same time a radial movement in this rotational reference frame. The description of this is made in the inertial reference frame. This is the only way to get the equations you present to her. all you guys use to explain direction is by quoting coriolis effect. but if we are to go by your idea if we watch the wind patterns from the space it should appear perfectly straight from a high pressure zone to a low pressure zone and not curve at all since it is an 'apparent force'. what you fail to mention is that air is being dragged by the earth in counter clockwise direction in the northern hemisphere and as it moves from a high pressure zone towards the equator it is losing angular velocity in order to conserve momentum. this in turn gives a net velocity which turns it towards right. once it reaches the low pressure area. it offshoots it but gets pulled back due to pressure gradient as well as the conservation of momentum again. coriolis effect is good to explain the path when the point of reference is a person on earth but it insufficient when observer is in the space. if i am wrong please correct me
