CIRE
The Centre for Islamic Research and Education (CIRE) is a new research centre based in Ebrahim College, a forward-thinking Muslim seminary in the heart of East London. While its research priorities are rooted within the Islamic intellectual tradition, CIRE is focused on producing knowledge of universal benefit. To realise this aim, the Centre focuses on three key areas of research: traditional Islamic disciplines, contemporary Muslim thought and an applied focus on education through action research.
CIRE present a forum for scholars to come together and discuss diverse aspects of scholarship and discussion around the implications of others work.
