SCP 771 is a creature whos not very well understood. Being labeled as Keter, they have no clue where it came from, who built it, or what is its purpose. In todays episode we will attempt to ascertain what is its reason for being, and how it may have come about. As always this is an SCP so it may be a little difficult to arrive at a 100% correct conclusion

Thank you for watching Roanoke Gaming and I hope you enjoy SCP 771: The Biological A.I. | A combination of Flesh and Machine Consciousness Explored

  1. Ummm just noticed he said 711 not 771 at 8:15 .
SCP 711 is a machine for sending data into its past and of receiving data from its future.
It is not this SCP. He just misspoke there.

  2. I would say that the Motherboard is more like the body and the CPU is the brain. The reason the MB is more of a body because it houses everything just like how the body house a person. Plus a MB have no processing while a CPU does.

  3. It would've been cool if you could've gotten TheVolgun to do the reading for this, with you adding commentary about its real world biological aspects, maybe with Dr. Miller snapping at you for interrupting.

  4. Excellent video as always, just wanted to point out that some studies have linked your intestinal flora to some "dialogue" between your brain and them. They are having continual discussion and I think that it is awesome. Some particular intestinal flora have been linked to forms of autism and bipolar disorder. So your "consciousness" become even more blurry… Just wanted to point that out for your future videos. I am trying to find those studies and will maybe post them when I found them again. So yeah consciouness is a fucking awesome topic

  5. I'd love to see you do a video on the biological computers and technology from the novel, John Dies at the End (not the film, it's far better explained in the book, though it is in the film too, it's just not quite as good imo). In the book there's an alternate reality that's invading our reality that essentially diverged from ours during the Civil War, where a scientist creates a functioning biological computer out of a pig's brain and their technology grows from there as they learn to build whatever they want out of genetically modified animals and plant life, like functioning monitors made out of color changing beetles and stuff like that. I don't know what you would focus on specifically but any of it would be really cool to see.

  6. 22:07 In both case
These are scary proposal because the Ai is a focus and merciless entity BUT the biological part is impulsive and unpredictable
in short: we are screwed from both sides of the matter.

  7. So this SCP kinda weirds out depending on what you ask it, it uses brain and nerve tissue to sustain itself. What if it was asked if it needed a converter or transformer to properly interact with it's biological components? Perhaps at that point it could provide details of its design and how to keep it running on minimal biomass. We might even learn what it's original purpose was at that point.

  8. Not a fan of the writing on this particular SCP. It's not bad, just seems a bit unpolished. Clinical tone is tough and communicating concepts relevant to the core concept while not using generalities can be challenging. I know I couldn't do it.

  9. But wouldn’t an ai that runs for long enough corrupt or degrade…like eventually essentially have skips in its function and create a technological version of Alzheimer’s or epilepsy even?
Cause that’s what this seems to be to me. A machine mimicking the degradation and falling apart of a brain. Both its mechanical and organic parts are failing and what’s essentially its immuno/repair healing responses are trying to keep it going but can’t keep up leaving it less and less functional each time it does so.
Maybe it’s too philosophical and I’m just speaking from the creative part of myself. Idk…I can’t accept anything being “perfect” because nothing can last forever and there’s always something out of place. Not even a machine can be perfect, only close to it. Closer than most humans certainly.
