Semiotics and Education Presentation

Created for a curriculum class, I made this presentation as a beginning exploration into semiotics– and how one might view education and curriculum through that particular lens. I only had 10 minutes for this presentation, but I would have loved to have included a view of the National Music Standards, charter school commercials, as well as literature and flyers for neighborhoods and press on charter schools. I think websites, as well, are slowly becoming an important medium of semiotics… especially for schools. please contact me for sources. .
