It seems that all the worlds religions and culture can be divided to those prior to Agriculture and those after . the pre-agricultural phase is usually called the shamanic paleolithic cultures (associated with female-oriented societies, orgies, and plant hallucinogen rituals) and those post agricultural are usually Ego-based, male dominant and hierarchical.
