The only problem with your videos is that you pronounce everything wrong.
It's SIN-TACK-TICK. Syntactic. What you say along the first minute is painful. Nice video though. Kinda boring.
Very good, thank you! helped me a lot!
Still cant understand it. Ugh! Im going to die!
Interesting but a few points – Saussure died in 1913 so the quoted date of 1983 is invalid. Also Mise-en-Scene is pronounced 'mees an sen'
S • 27 vineet kaushik Do you take your Photographs seriously? Have you ever researched images? Are you serious about the branding of images? Here I am discussing an audacious tool in the post below which will just change the way you see an image. A must for those, looking towards branding or eventually maximum no. of likes 🙂 http://www.professorfashion.com/research-tool-semiotic.html
Thanks for the video. I've just started looking into it and this has explained quite a lot.
"The Girl With the Pearl Earing" movie with Scar Jo is a perfect example of "Cinderella Myth"! I just realized Karate Kid, Bad News Bears, Dodge Ball, Cool Runnings, Major League and a bunch more that I can't think of the names atm are all "David & Goliath" myths. There's even a bunch of "Joseph Myths" movies too. Where an underestimated outcast is sent to an unfamiliar location and succeeds and then basks in the glory when he returns home as a hero. "Abraham myth" as well. Where a man with an unrelenting internal drive to go on a high minded mission to manifest a divine calling and overcomes hardships to accomplish his mission.
Well made, thanks.
