Great idea about cultivating a "customs" for what you allow into yourself.
The way I've been wording this is:
The key to discovering what processed foods contain sulfates and other toxic ingredients as well as other toxic elements is to ALWAYS read and research the ingredients list before allowing anything into our body, in our environment and into our mind.
It's like a firewall to prevent you from making mistakes, and helps you build up a list of what consists of only good, and what is not suitable for human consumption.
Into your body, as in food, water, drug, etc.
Onto your body as in shampoo, hand-soap, antiperspirant, sun screen, makeup, the clothes you wear (avoid synthetic fabrics), fabric of beds/lounges/car seat/etc, etc.
In our environment as in WiFi, mobile phone in pocket always and put up to head, using bug-spray in the house, synthetic air fresheners (use electronic multistage air purifiers and essential oil misters instead), synthetic fabrics in clothing and furniture and other environmental toxins.
Into our mind, as in false information perpetuated by media, governments and other groups that give you false perceptions of reality and false limitations.
