SingularityNet is the world’s first decentralized marketplace for AI, aimed to democratize access, creation and scaling of AI services in the new global economy.
Artificial Intelligence will revolutionize the world… in many ways it already has! SingularityNET wants to facilitate the upcoming changes by offering a new, unprecedented approach to the way AI is developed, marketed and deployed.

Any potential consumer will be able to browse SingularityNET’s catalog of AI Services, or request their specific needs to the SingularityNET AI producer network.
Meanwhile, AI producers will be able to quickly and easily register their AI Agent(s) to provide services to anyone else in the network, and receive compensation for services rendered.
Developed by a team of 25+ leading AI researchers led by Dr Ben Goertzel, SingularityNET is a combination of open-source code, blockchain, smart contracts and a specially designed crypto-currency (the AGI Token) that work together to create a useful and highly accessible global market for AI services.
SingularityNet is already operational as a test network, currently open to developers. A public beta version will be available in the summer of 2018, with a full commercial release to follow by the end of the year.
In the near future, SingularityNet will make AI services available to everyone: small brick and mortar stores, individuals, big corporations and even farmers in remote Africa will be able to harness the benefits of modern AI technology. Great introduction video to SingularityNet. You should make a video explaining the purpose of the AGI token, as this seems to be the biggest issue most noobs have with SingularityNet.

One thing that hit me while watching this video, youth out reach & encouragement. After school programs, youtube classes on basic AI development, things like that. I know this may not be the current scope, but the more comfortable the future is, the fewer doomsdayer cults we'll have to contend with. A "youth" awareness approach also offers a chance for those adults of us who are intelligent enough to see the potential, but not genius enough to fully grasp the mechanics, to watch the kiddy version and expand our understanding as well, there by becoming more at ease.
