Brilliant fly on the wall doco on The Fauves, filmed between 1997 and 1999. They have a hit with “Dogs Are the Best People” and an Aria nomination for “Future Spa”, tour sporadically and record their make or break album, “Lazy Highways” with producer Wayne Connolly.
(I had this up in 6 parts – I’ve combined them now)

awesome, underrated band, great memories of tramping around asia in the 90s, listening to them on my walkman (look it up, kids, may be retro now)
Can you imagine Tarago's were ever worth 45K?

Stinky Sound guys….. What's with that? Is there some secret order they follow? Best Rock doco, Top band!
This is one of my favourite music documentaries in that it's a uniquely realistic depiction of what it's like to be in a band.
'bunch of nobodies driving round Australia in a Tarago' … overlooked, underrated, underheard – CRIMINALLY!
The best quote from this doco was "it's been a c#nt of a day, to put it mildly".
Beats in the dark
