A new wave of interest in artificial intelligence and the success in this area associated with the use of machine learning technologies raise considerable interest on the part of business and are the source of many widely-discussed opportunities and threats. Many states are seriously thinking about it. Some have developed or are developing their own strategies in the field of artificial intelligence covering various areas – from development and application to use within the system of public administration. What should Russia’s position in this process be?
