Your game is rly Good, but PLEASE put some little flags into the brigades. Maybe 1or 2 for each Brigade and Cavalery. 😀
Is this something that's coming in the next patch? Because in my games, AI never does anything like this.
In fact, i played this very battle a couple of days ago and use very similar initial deployment. However, instead of attacking, the union army simply stopped at the north woods and millers cornfield. Not only this, but later on union never tried to take stone bridge, instead they marched most of their forces there to east woods.
During that battle, the only proper attack was the units that spawn west of the sunken road at the bridge, and second phase reinforcements which attacked sunken road.
I feel like this is because i had been doing extremely well in the campaign, to the point where i slightly outnumbered union in this battle.
It seems like AI does extremely well when it outnumbers the player, but if the player outnumbers it, or has even forces, it becomes confused and doesn't know what to do.

i have been following this game and its developer for a very long time, i have to say, Quality and finesse at its best is the phrase i would use about you or your company. Keep up the good work and yes, larger scale musket warfare with perhaps ships included with DLC => europe etc. , Like lets be real, you and this genre is the next Total War. , Love you. keep up the good work.
Do You plan to make games on same engine about another conflicts, for example – Crimean War?
But…in history, Lee's primary aim was defend his escape route – the road extending southward from Sharpsburg, which lead to a major river-crossing on Potomac – rather than held Sharpsburg itself. Fell that the victory condition of this level should be defending that road…

P.S it doesnt counts deserted from eliminated brigades and prisoners, Union lost literally more than 90% of army
