"We don't need to solve the hard problem to pursue … a science of consciousness.โ Then you can't really call it a science of consciousness – only a science of neurology as it relates to experience. โWhen the brain stops, consciousness stops.โ Simply not true. But I give Anil credit for realizing that consciousness cannot be defined and the "hard problem" cannot be solved from a materialistic viewpoint.
